The Raineri estate located in Italy's Liguria region has produced exceptional extra virgin olive oil for three generations. Estate bottling guarantee that only olives from Raineri's groves will be used. The oil is obtained by first cold pressing, a process in which no chemicals or heat are used to increase the yield.
Raineri oils are available both filtered and unfiltered ("mosto"). Unfiltered olive oil has a cloudy apperance and a sediment that settles at the bottom. To protect the oil from the damaging effects of light and heat, Raineri wraps its bottles in foil.
