SABAROTThe Company Sabarot-Wassner was founded in 1819 by Jean-Pierre Sabarot when he bought the mills of Brives-Charensac in Auvergne, France. He developed a flour-milling business, then added the husking of barley and oats.
By the year 1970 the activity extends to all ranges of quality dried grains, beans and lentils.
In 1990 Sabarot launches the famous "Green Lentil from Le Puy". The ancestral know-how combined with advanced modern techniques ensures the Company a position of leadership in the food industry.
They are the only lentil and first dried vegetable to obtain the AOC label (Appelation d'Origine Controlée) which guarantees the high quality and origin of the product.
